Route “Mongolia Solo 4×4 Challenge” (MS4x4C) will run from London to Ulaanbaatar and back to London. Overall I will travel approx. 26000 km (16000 miles). The journey is expected to take 7 weeks. MS4x4C will visit 9 countries, will overcome 4 mountain ranges and 40 river fords, the hot sands of the Gobi Desert, the endless plains of Mongolia and boundless forests of Siberia.
The challenge, for logistical reasons, will divide into several stages:
1. Great Britain – Poland
2. Poland – Russia (Chelyabinsk)
3. Russia (Chelyabinsk) – Russia (Novosibirsk)
4. Russia (Novosibirsk) – Mongolia
5. Mongolia
6. Mongolia – Russia (Irkutsk)
7. Russia (Irkutsk) – Russia (Novosibirsk)
8. Russia (Novosibirsk) – Great Britain
